Asia-ISAC Launch Kickoff

A First Step Toward Regional Collaboration

· Events

Asia-ISAC, the first member-focused Information Sharing and Analysis Center for Asia, officially marked the beginning of its launch journey with the Launch Kickoff event on August 8, 2025.

Bringing together business leaders, CISOs, and decision-makers from across the region, the kickoff introduced Asia-ISAC’s mission: to unlock business innovation through safe and secure AI adoption, while reducing the cost and impact of cyberattacks through trusted, cross-sector collaboration.

The session highlighted Asia-ISAC’s dual focus:

  • Enabling growth and innovation by helping companies adopt AI securely.
  • Strengthening resilience through shared cybersecurity intelligence and best practices.

The Launch Kickoff is the first milestone in Asia-ISAC’s journey toward its Grand Launch in October 2025, where the full vision of a cross-sector, member-focused community will be unveiled.

Founder James Cruz underscored the importance of building collective strength: “In isolation, we’re vulnerable. Together, we can unlock innovation safely and reduce the true cost of cyberattacks across Asia.”

Asia-ISAC extends its thanks to all who joined the Kickoff — with participation spanning Singapore, Philippines, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, India, Australia, and the UK — and looks forward to welcoming more organizations into this growing community.
